Your chance to enjoy local wine, food, and art is just around the corner. On September 9th, the Mercer Island Chamber of Commerce presents Art Uncorked, where attendees can discover their new favorite wine from one of Washington’s top wineries. In a state with over 30,000 acres of vineyards and 650 wineries, you’re bound to find a top-tier wine, beer, or cider at this outdoor celebration, located at the Greta Hackett Outdoor Sculpture Gallery

At Art UnCorked, wine tasting is just the beginning. The Mercer Island Visual Arts League is responsible for curating original art and handmade crafts for sale throughout the event. The current vendor line-up includes talented printmakers, jewelry makers, painters, and wire workers. For artists and other creators who are interested in participating, the vendor application remains open for artists as well as wineries, sponsors, and volunteers.

After perusing the artwork and making a trip to the Tasting Garden, eventgoers can explore local artist booths and food trucks. Attendees are encouraged to save room for delicious food and dancing! Live jazz and other tunes will kick off the wine tasting event; and after trying on your dancing shoes, you can refuel with a plate of BBQ, a poke bowl, or even pan-seared Alaska Weathervane scallops

Prepare to enjoy some of the finer things in life in a single Friday night. Attendees can purchase either General Admission – Advanced tickets ($35), which include 10 wine tasting tickets and a complimentary wine glass, or Art Patron – Advanced tickets ($10), which come without the wine tasting tickets and complimentary wine glass. A friendly reminder that this event is for folks 21 years or older.
