The Stroum Jewish Community Center has organized several Hanukkah events to take place this week and next week. Learn more below:
Oh Sugar Sugar: Sweet and Healthy Hanukkah
Tuesday, December 20, 7 – 8 pm
Issaquah PCC, 1810 12th Ave NW, Issaquah

Hanukkah is known for sweet treats like chocolate gelt and sufganiyot (jelly donuts), and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by sugar at this time of year. Let nutritionist and PCC employee Nick Rose teach you how to identify added sugar in packaged food, how to reduce the amount of sugar in your home cooking and baking, and share tips to help tame your sweet tooth. Plus, learn about the holiday of Hanukkah.
