The Transition Initiative of Mercer Island (TIMI) is hosting a presentation on Climate Change on Tuesday, August 18, from 5 to 7 pm, at the Mercer Island Library.

Karin Bumbaco, a Washington state assistant climatologist, will present an update on local climate change and drought.

The event begins at 5 pm with a casual meet-and-greet half-hour; the presentation begins at 5:30. At 6:30 pm, there will be time for questions and discussion.
