The Mercer Island Parks & Recreation Department is hosting its annual Spring Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 31st.

There’s lots of fun in store for both little and big kids, starting with the Lil’ Ones Egg Hunts at 4 pm and 5 pm sharp. For kids ages 7 to 10, they will have the thrill of seeking eggs in the dark during the Flashlight Egg Hunt, starting at 8:30 pm sharp. More details below:

Lil’ Ones Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 31, 4 pm (1 – 3 year olds), 5 pm (4 – 6 year olds)
Mercerdale Park, 77th Ave SE and SE 32nd St
Cost: Suggested donation of $5/family
Kids ages 1 – 6

Hop on over to Mercerdale Park for the annual Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt just for the little ones! Our resident bunny has been hard at work putting together eggs, candy, and prizes for everyone and plans to make a special visit to the egg hunts to say “hello.” Bring a basket and your sweet tooth and get ready to hunt for goodies. Find a golden egg for the “eggstra” special surprise. Please, no children over the age of 6. *Please note: there are two separate start times depending on age. No registration required.

Flashlight Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 31, 8:30 pm SHARP!
Mercerdale Park, 77th Ave SE and SE 32nd St
Cost: Suggested donation of $5/family
Kids ages 7 – 10
That’s right! This one is done in the dark and is exclusively for older kids! Bring your flashlight and a basket to haul off your loot. Lots of eggs, candy, and prizes for everyone. Find the golden egg during our Eggstravaganza for an “eggstra” special surprise. No parents on the field. No registration required.
