Gather your little ones and reconnect with the magic of storytelling at Island Books. The local bookstore hosts “Children’s Story Times” on Saturday mornings. Bring your family to listen to enchanting stories and songs by Nancy Stewart, a talented storyteller, singer, and songwriter.

Mercer Island’s own Nancy Stewart is a professional singer and songwriter. She is a previous winner of the ALA Notable Children’s Recording award, multiple Parents’ Choice Awards, and a WLA Visionary award. Nancy started the project Sing With Our Kids to educate parents about songs and activities for kids from birth to age 5. You can find out more about her at nancymusic.com.
