Clarke & Clarke Art + Artifacts proudly announces the opening of this fantasy filled show in colaboration with the prestigeous NWDC (Northwest Designer Craftsmen). The group was founded in 1954 to promote excellence of design and craftsmanship and to stimulate appreciation and interest in fine craft in the NW. A collection of “Living Treasures” documentaries has been created by NWDC and the 2019 exhibition “Ron Ho…A Jewelers Tale” at Bellevue Arts Museum was co-curated by the current President of NWDC, Nancy Loorem Adams and former BAM Executive Director and Chief Curator Benedict Heywood.
Step into the magical, whimsical, and creative world of more than 30 artists who have reimagined a one of a kind object in their media of Clay, Wood, Glass, Metal, Fiber and Mixed Media, a reinvisioned “shoe” in a format no larger than 10” x 10”.
