Description
This year, Mercer Miles is partnering with the Mercer Island Bluebirds and the West Seattle Road Runners to host a twilight festival of mile races at Mercer Island High School. The races are seeded by target time with official timing, giving every runner a chance to run their dream mile.
Heats run in order of seed time, with the fastest miles at the end of the night. The festival includes a Coaches Mile and Community Mile, as well as a 400-meter “Lollipop Lap” for the littlest runners.
After rocking your race, join other runners for an evening of family-friendly events. Grab dinner at one of the food trucks and cheer on each heat as the miles get progressively faster into the evening. The event organizers encourage all runners to bring fold-up chairs, pop-up tents, and other spectator essentials.
Register online by Thursday, May 18th at 11:59 pm to secure your spot! Check the website on Friday, May 19th for the final schedule of heats and start lists.
