Poetry + Wine with Sarah Jones

Barrels and Island Books will be joint hosting poet Sarah Jones at Barrels. Sarah will read from work in progresses, published work, and her chapbook Lies I Tell Myself. We will have copies of the chapbook for sale at the event.

Sarah Jones is a Seattle-based poet and content specialist. She is the author of the chapbook Lies I Tell Myself (dancing girl press & studio, 2018). She has been nominated for a 2018 and 2019 Pushcart Prize and has been featured in Poets & Writers Magazine and on NPR. Her poetry has appeared in New Ohio Review, The Normal School, American Literary Review, Entropy magazine, Maudlin House, Raven Chronicles, City Arts Magazine, Yes, Poetry, and many other places. Sarah is an editorial assistant of Poetry Northwest magazine, and she holds an M.F.A. in Poetry from Antioch University, Los Angeles.
