Description

Moderated by ESPN personality Kenny Mayne, sports leaders Doug Baldwin, Nate Boyer and 2019 ESPY Pat Tillman Award winner Kirstie Ennis will be discussing “Sports, Leadership, and Community: How athletes at all levels can develop as leaders and become catalysts for positive change in their communities.” Student athletes, coaches and the public at large can learn how sports can provide a platform to become leaders in the community. What does it mean to be a true student-athlete? How do lessons from sports transfer to the classroom, the boardroom, and beyond? The program will also honor and acknowledge 5 High School student athletes from the Puget Sound area that are doing incredible things in their communities.

100% of the proceeds will go to Kenny Mayne’s RunFreely.org that provides support to Veterans to help them with limb salvage solutions to avoid amputation; and Merging Vets & Players (MVP) that connects combat Veterans with professional athletes in a gym setting for therapeutic workouts and counseling sessions, co-founded by Nate Boyer and Jay Glazer.

Doors open at 5 pm and seating is general admission, so come early to check-in and secure your seat. This is sure to be a sold-out event!
