She created Pastry Craft to make learning how to create great pastry, bread, and confections approachable and attainable by the home cook. In her classes. Pfalzer encourages lively discussions with students about baking and pastry techniques and seasonal produce. She is particularly passionate about teaching not only the “how,” but the “why” of baking and pastry. She lives in the Seattle area with her dog, Tucker, where she teaches baking and pastry to home cooks.
