National JCC Literary Consortium and the Stroum Jewish Community Center (SJCC) present a “Book Fest in Your Living Room: Bill Gates, How to Avoid a Climate Disaster.”

Bill Gates has spent a decade investigating the causes and effects of climate change. With the help of experts in the fields of physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, political science, and finance, he has focused on what must be done in order to stop the planet’s slide to certain environmental disaster. In his book, How to Avoid a Climate Disaster, he not only explains why we need to work toward net-zero emissions of greenhouse gases, but also details what we need to do to achieve this profoundly important goal.

Gates is joined in conversation by Kristen Welker, co-anchor of Weekend TODAY and an NBC News White House Correspondent. Welker’s hard-hitting political reporting appears across all NBC News and MSNBC platforms, including“NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, TODAY, Meet the Press, and NBCNews.com. Welker recently moderated the final presidential debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.
