Description
Youth Mental Health First Aid is a training program designed to teach adults how to support an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing mental health or addiction challenges, or who is in crisis. This six-hour training course will teach you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in youth.
This free program is open to Mercer Island residents and educators who support Mercer Island students, thanks to a partnership with Mercer Island Healthy Youth Initiative and Jewish Family Service.
