Do you have old bikes or bike parts taking up room in your garage?  Here’s a great way to give those bikes new life and contribute toward a great cause.

What: Mercer Island Bike Drive! Hosted by Windermere Mercer Island in partnership with non-profit organization Bike Works

When: Sunday, December 6, Noon – 3 pm

Where: Windermere Mercer Island, 2737 77th Ave SE #100 (between the old Albertsons and Starbucks in Tabit Village)

Donation information: Bike Works accepts all types of bikes, but is especially in need of bikes in good condition, including: 20″ wheel BMX style bikes, 24″ and 26″ wheel mountain bikes, road bikes of any size, and especially smaller-sized road bikes. Please also considering donating $5 to help offset the cost of transporting and processing the bicycles.
