Halloween wouldn’t be quite complete without carving pumpkins, and this year you can show off your jack-o’-lantern design at the Mercer Island Pumpkin Walk! Mark your calendar for this event and more spooktacular upcoming Halloween events on Mercer Island. Each promises frightfully fantastic fun for all ages!

Join the Mercer Island Preschool Association for a pumpkin carving event! Bring the entire family to carve pumpkins for the Mercer Island Youth and Family Services Pumpkin Walk!
Saturday, October 26th, 5 to 9 pm, at the Mercer Island Community & Event Center
Need a date night or some free time without the kids? Drop them by the Mercer Island Community and Event Center for a fun Halloween party that will include games, arts and crafts, pizza, and a movie.

Sunday, October 27th, 5 to 8 pm, at Luther Burbank Park
Join your friends and neighbors for a fun, festive, non-spooky walk along the Meadow Loop Trail. The path will be lined with a glowing display of carved pumpkins.
Carvers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate in the display. Carved pumpkins can be dropped off from 9 am to 3 pm on the day of the event at Luther Burbank in the North parking lot.
Pumpkins can be retrieved outside the Administration Building anytime from 9 am to 5 pm the following day.

Come dressed up for the costume contest! Enjoy a lunch among friends, and a presentation by special guest John Jensen on What was the First Rock ‘N Roll Record. Lots of goodies and raffle prizes!

Thursday, October 31st, 3 to 5:30 pm, at Mercer Island businesses located in Town Center and the South End Shopping Center
Little ghosts and goblins are invited to trick or treat at local businesses for this annual event, organized by the Mercer Island Chamber of Commerce. Island businesses downtown and on the south end of Mercer Island will be giving out treats on Halloween from 3 to 5:30 pm. Look for posters in the windows of participating businesses.
