Mercer Island Youth and Family Services Foundation (MIYFS) Board of Directors invites you to bring your family, sip apple cider, and tour the halls of our brick administration building while learning about its history and current use as MIYFS headquarters. This community-building event will take place Sunday, October 4th, from 2 to 4 pm.

A complete showcase of all eight MIYFS programs and services will be featured on the tour, including the Food Pantry, which operates out of this building. Additional highlights include:

  • Sneak preview of our hand-blown glass pumpkins made by local artists Joni Johnson and Roberta Wyde, which will be available for sale.
  • Pumpkin-carving demonstration with acclaimed Master Carver Russ Leno
  • Mini pumpkin decorating for your children
  • And, of course, play on the playground

MIYFS, established in 1973, is committed to providing, coordinating, and advocating for affordable, high-quality human services for all. The MIYFS Foundation was founded in 1989 to support and enhance the work of MIYFS through fundraising efforts.

The MIYFS administration building is located at 2040 84th Ave SE, Mercer Island, WA 98040.  Questions? Contact me at [email protected] or (206) 275-7756
