Cold-pressed juices, smoothies, healthy salads, and guilt-free treats at your fingertips on Mercer Island? Yes, please!

Jujubeet, a locally owned artisan juice bar with locations in Seattle, Bellevue, and Redmond, has just announced it will open a grab-n-go kiosk within the 212 Health and Fitness center in downtown Mercer Island.

Jujubeet-LocationJujubeet co-founder and Mercer Island resident Mala Raman said she is excited to team up with Jason Kaliloa, owner of the recently opened 212 Health & Fitness, to bring a kiosk to Mercer Island.

“We heard that Jason was looking to open a juice bar, and we got in touch with him,” Raman said. “We have great synergy.”

She also said that current customers of Jujubeet’s Bellevue store encouraged her and co-founder Bianca Szyperski to open the Mercer Island location.

“We’ve been open in Bellevue for nearly two years, and we get a lot of customers from Mercer Island who keep saying, ‘we don’t want to have to cross the bridge’ and who would like a more convenient location,” Raman said. “Mercer Island is growing, so hopefully we’ll get traction.”

Opening Party this Friday

Community members are invited to an opening party this Friday, October 9th, from 8:30 to 11:30 am. Jujubeet will serve complimentary smoothies, juices, and energy balls to celebrate their Mercer Island opening and give your morning a healthy start.

The kiosk will carry all of Jujubeet’s cold pressed juices, smoothies, salads, and healthy desserts uniquely crafted by an in-house dietitian and delivered fresh daily. Pre-ordered juice cleanses will also be available from the kiosk.

Jujubeet history, location & hours

Jujubeet was founded in 2013 and opened its first location in Bellevue, which alone has prepared over 100,000 servings of vegetables in the form of artisan juices, smoothies and elixirs, alongside house-made salads, wraps, and wholesome treats.

In July 2014, Jujubeet opened its second retail store location in Seattle across from University Village followed by a Redmond Town Center location shortly after.

The Jujubeet kiosk will be open Monday through Saturday, from 8 am to 2 pm. 212 Health & Fitness is located at 2558 76th Ave SE #138 (in the Mercer building).
