Help improve the livability of Mercer Island by getting more involved in our community. The Mercer Island City Council is currently seeking a diverse range of citizens to serve on several volunteer advisory boards.
Appointments to boards and commissions are made by the Mayor and Deputy Mayor and affirmed by the City Council. Generally, terms run June 1st through May 31st, for a four-year period. Upon appointment, board members can expect to spend approximately 10 hours per month serving on the board, though levels of commitment may vary.
