The Mercer Island Christmas Tree Lot, benefitting Mercer Island Youth & Family Services (MIYFS) and Mercer Island Lions Club charitable giving, opens Saturday, November 24th. This year, the lot will be located at the former Tully’s Coffee location at 7810 SE 27th St on the north end of Mercer Island.
Shoppers can choose from Noble, Nordmann, and Douglas Firs from 5 ft to 10 ft tall, along with mixed green wreaths and cedar garlands. All products are sourced from Hunter Christmas Trees, a family farm dedicated to quality and service since 1948.
The Christmas tree lot hours are Thursdays and Fridays from 2 to 7 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm.
Volunteers are what makes the Mercer Island Christmas Tree Lot successful. Donate your time and support MIYFS and the Mercer Island Lions Club charitable giving efforts. MIYFS provides emergency assistance, a food pantry, preschool scholarships, mental health counseling, volunteer opportunities, and much more to Mercer Island residents. The Lions Club has a history of supporting local senior services programs, including Meals on Wheels, boy scout troops, blind and hearing-impaired neighbors, youth scholarship programs, and more.
