Located on the southwest side of Mercer Island, Mercer Ridge is a cohesive neighborhood of well-maintained homes with nice character and curb appeal. Developed in the 1970s, the neighborhood features a variety of coordinating architectural styles and floor plans, including tri-level, split entry, and two-story homes.
The neighborhood’s area represents approximately two large blocks, and the lots are oversized (most around 1/3 acres), and many homes have sprawling lawns and plenty of outdoor space. The neighborhood gets its name from the geographic ridge on its eastern border, which rises in elevation toward the Parkwest neighborhood.
The neighborhood is popular with walkers and is a short distance from Islander Middle School, the south end QFC shopping center, and Pioneer Park.
