A historic north-end neighborhood

The historic Roanoke neighborhood is located on the northern tip of Mercer Island and is most well-known as the location of the island’s oldest local business, the Roanoke Inn and Tavern, established in 1914.

Here, you’ll also find the VFW Hall, Roanoke Park, and the Roanoke Landing, once the site of the Roaonoke Ferry Dock – a busy transit location until the first floating bridge to Mercer Island was completed in 1940. Aubrey Davis Park, also known as “Park on the Lid,” borders this neighborhood to the south.

Homes in this neighborhood include historic Cape Cod-style cottages along with beautiful view properties and waterfront estates.
