Mercer Island Public School District

The Mercer Island School District (MISD), the public school system, is made up of six schools, including four elementary schools – West Mercer, Northwood, Island Park & Lakeridge – Islander Middle School, and Mercer Island High School.

Child placement in elementary schools is determined primarily by geographic boundary. In most cases, your child will go to the school that is located closest to your home. For an elementary school boundary map established by the Mercer Island School District in 2015, visit the school district’s website. For further verification of elementary school assignment, use the school district’s School Locator and Transportation E-Link tool.
