MIPA's Circus to take place April 22nd

The Mercer Island Preschool Association’s Circus event began in 1966 as a Dr. Seuss-inspired carnival called “Circus McGurkus” for the children of Mercer Island. Since then, it has grown into a festival that attracts hundreds of families from all over Seattle and the Eastside.

This year’s event will take place Saturday, April 22nd, from 10 am to 2 pm, at the Mercer Island High School. A treasured Island tradition, MIPA’s Circus offers live music, entertainment, games, pony rides, food trucks, and more.
Here are all the details:

When: April 22nd, 10 am – 2 pm

Where: Mercer Island High School

Who: Calling all Toddlers, Preschoolers and Kindergartners! The Circus is on its way!

What:  Music, circus performers, pony rides, bouncy houses, face painting, dunk tank, magician, carnival games, MISD Bus, food trucks, and more! This event is a homespun circus on a grand scale that year after year draws young families region-wide for a day of fun and community gathering.  You won’t want to miss it! Best for ages 2-8.

Cost: $15 for an all-access wrist band. Parents are free! $5 pony rides.
