Due to the inclement weather, the Mercer Island Youth and Family Services (MIYFS) Foundation has moved the Annual Breakfast to Wednesday, March 6th.

A message from MIYFS:

Thank you for standing by us during the prediction of a major winter storm, and for holding steady in your commitment to support the beloved human and social service organization on Mercer Island that is here for every Islander. Your generosity and support maintains the very services that provide emergency assistance, extend lifelong wellness and foster strength and resilience to all members of our community.

For those guests that have already registered, you should have received an email from the Mercer Island Youth and Family Services to respond with a “Yes” or “No” to remain on the registered list.  If you have any concern that you missed this email, and were originally registered, please send a message to Sari Weiss at MIYFS, [email protected]. Do not re-register.

Can’t attend the breakfast? Here are ways to get involved:

• Make a Donation – If you can’t attend the breakfast, please consider making a donation here. All donations are gratefully accepted and as MIYFS Foundation is a 501(3)(c) organization, your gift is tax-deductible.
• Buy Raffle Tickets – This year’s raffle has three prize packages and the three winners will be drawn at the Annual Breakfast. Prizes include “Go Travel!” Prize with an REI Stand Up Paddle Board and Lodging and Breakfast for two at Salish Lodge & Spa, and two “Hometown Relax & Refresh” packages valued over $2000! Tickets are $10 each, on sale now. Available from MI Thrift Shop, MIYFS Admin Office (brick building at Luther Burbank Park), MI Chamber of Commerce, and MI Athletic Club. The winners do not need to be present to win!
• Shop and Dine for MIYFS at Local Businesses – On March 6th, businesses around Mercer Island will donate 20% of sales to MIYFS.
• Buy One-of-a-Kind Glass Hearts – Hand-crafted glass hearts are for sale around the Island throughout January and February at local businesses (listed on www.miyfs.org) and at the Annual Breakfast. Buy an original work of art and support MIYFS.
