The countdown begins! New Seasons Market just announced the Grand Opening for their upcoming store on Mercer Island. On Thursday, November 10th, Mercer Island’s newest grocery store will open their doors at 7 am.

If you plan to stop by, arrive hungry. New Seasons will offer lots of free samples throughout the day.

The store is located at 2755 77th Ave SE.  Progress on a complete remodel of the building continues daily.  The former facade of Albertsons has been completely transformed, and signage goes up this week. New landscaping is taking shape, and inside, installation of shelving and decor is beginning.

“Mercer Island’s neighborhood New Seasons Market is really coming to life,” said store manager Jennie Lea in a media release. “We are bringing on new local producers, redesigning and renovating the space, establishing non-profit partners in the community, and recruiting awesome staff ready to meet our new neighbors. We can’t wait!”
