New Seasons Market is preparing to recruit over 100 new staff members for its new Mercer Island store, scheduled to open later this fall.
It will host its first Puget Sound job fair on Thursday, September 29th, at the Mercer Island Community & Event Center toward recruiting experienced staff to join their Mercer Island team. New Seasons leaders will be on hand to discuss opportunities across the store’s full-service departments.
WHAT: New Seasons Market is seeking friendly, knowledgeable people to staff its new Mercer Island store, opening this fall at 2755 77th Ave S.E., Mercer Island, Washington
New Seasons senior staff will be on hand to accept applications for more than 100 positions; meeting and recruiting staff from the surrounding area; and sharing more about store departments including produce, meat and seafood, bakery, cheese, and deli.
Previous New Seasons Job Fairs have drawn more than 1,000 applicants attracted by the company’s robust compensation and benefits program. New Seasons offers lifestyle scheduling with flexible and predictable work schedules, a 20% store discount, profit-sharing, paid volunteer hours, ongoing training, and a “speak up” culture of staff empowerment and engagement.

WHO: Job seekers who are passionate about food, love people, and want to help build a community gathering place are encouraged to attend the Job Fair. Attendees do not have to pre-register and can submit applications on-site or prior to the event online.
New Seasons is also actively welcoming recruits from FareStart, the Seattle-based program that connects people with barriers to employment to good jobs in the food industry.
