You’re invited to celebrate and support Mercer Island Youth and Family Services (MIYFS) at its biggest fundraising event of the year, the MIYFS Foundation Annual Breakfast.
Last year’s breakfast brought together almost 600 guests. Attendees will hear from MIYFS representatives as well as local Islanders about the impact of MIYFS on their lives and the well-being of the community.
There is no charge to attend the breakfast but there is a suggested minimum donation of $250 per person or $500 per couple. Registration is now open at www.miyfs.org.
A message from MIYFS:
This year we are excited to announce our Master of Ceremonies, Bill Radke. Bill and his family reside on Mercer Island and are well anchored in our community. Bill is a Weekend America and Marketplace Morning Report KUOW-FM’s radio talk show host, web video host, author, comedian, and columnist.
Our guest speaker is Pat Braman. Since the late 60s, Pat Braman has been constantly involved in our community. She has been a teacher at MIHS, a union representative, a parent and grandparent of Islander students, and a member of the MISD Board of Directors. Her love and knowledge of our island as well as MIYFS is boundless!
The MIYFS Foundation Community Philanthropy Award is given at our Annual Foundation Breakfast to an individual, business, or organization within our wonderful Mercer Island Community to recognize a vital partnership with Mercer Island Youth & Family Services.
It is our honor to announce the 2019 MIYFS Philanthropy Award Winner: Mercer Island Preschool Association (MIPA)! For decades, along with contributing generously to MIYFS fundraisers, MIPA has tirelessly and enthusiastically supported the MIYFS preschool scholarship fund and volunteered in many capacities.
