Stop by the Mercer Island Boys & Girls Club to create circuits and explore electronics. Play around or work on a project. Bring a friend and work in pairs! Squishy Circuits, Little Bits, and Snap Circuits kits provided.

Drop by for an afternoon of board games, video games, playing pool or ping-pong, and hanging out. There’s a huge selection of games, and the staff is always up to taking on a new competitor. Games include: Codenames, Mission Red Planet, Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride, Connect 4, Monopoly, and more. Free for ages 7 – 14.

Wine Tasting with Lawrelin, Maloney, and Radix

Come in for a wine tasting in Eastern Washington without leaving the Island. We welcome three outstanding wine producers – Lawrelin, Maloney, and Radix.  Some of you have had these wines and know how special they are.  These wines are made in small quantities, often with less than two hundred cases!  Their wines will be available for tasting and sale.  Expect to see some new releases!

91st Annual Academy Awards

We all love a good party, especially the Oscars! In anticipation of the Academy Awards airing on February 24th, film historian Lance Rhoades will share the highlights and controversies from previous ceremonies and discuss the current nominees. He will even offer his own Oscars predictions!

Dinner at Our House

Whisk, simmer, flip, bake, and blend as we cook a Sunday dinner in the SJCC kitchen for homeless teens. A great family activity to help make a difference for homeless teens. Dinners are delivered to YouthCare, a Seattle organization working to get homeless teens off the streets and prepared for life.

School’s Out Camp: Camp Kef
Monday, February 18 – Friday, February 22, 9 am – 4 pm
Stroum Jewish Community Center, 3801 E Mercer Way 

Kef means fun in Hebrew and just like J Camp in the summer we will have active group games, do creative art projects, celebrate with song and swim. This week we’ll travel to Cougar Mountain Zoo and get a visit from the Reptile Man. For kids in Kindergarten – 5th Grade. Cost is $64 members/$72 guests (daily rate).
