A Pride Conversation with Jo Langford

Attention queer teens! Join us for a conversation about queer sex ed! Queer author and counselor Jo Langford answers all your burning questions free of judgment. Come for the free pizza, stay for the good friends and great conversation. This is an inclusive space for any teens to freely express their feelings and have questions answered that are not addressed in most curriculums.
Tabletop Thursdays

Join us as we celebrate a Group Show with Jan Viney, Annelle Hollingsworth, & Shawn Marie Johnson. Meet the three talented artists from the Puget Sound area in this joint exhibit. Explore nearly 50 photographs from artists Jan Viney and Annelle Hollingsworth in the featured gallery space, then venture to “Downstairs @ the Mercer Island Gallery” to enjoy eclectic works by Shawn Marie Johnson. There will be live music and light refreshments provided by the Mercer Island Arts Council.

A reflection on the mysticism that permeates Hawaii, its nature and its inhabitants. Returning Artist, Kosta Kulundzic, presents portraits of the youth of Hawaii ( North-Shore) through expressions of grace and the sweet mysticism that seems to emerge from them, almost in the way of icons. “Tropic Iconic” portrays these figures with the strength of religious images against the natural and mystical backdrop emanating from Hawaii’s natural setting.
Restoration Event

Join EarthCorps and the City of Mercer Island as we work in Pioneer Park! The park is 113 acres of forested habitat, the largest forested park on Mercer Island. It is home to over 70 types of birds and 12 different mammals. It also offers the most extensive trail system on the island.
“Excerpts from Cinderella”

Island Youth Ballet’s “Excerpts from Cinderella” continues an Island tradition with a springtime ballet full of hope and magic. More than 40 Mercer Island ballet students will perform highlights from the classical story of a young girl who discovers her prince with the loving help of friendly forest creatures and a fairy godmother.
Farmers Market
