The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a group of people that will be planning the programs, coordinating services, and creating community building activities for the students and families of Northwood Elementary. The first step in the Northwood Elementary PTA becoming a recognized PTA and 501(c)(3) organization is a Planning Meeting. Please join us for this important meeting on September 29th. You will have the opportunity to meet Principal Aimee Batliner-Gillette and become a member of the Northwood Elementary PTA.

Whether you are a Mercer Island voter or not, many issues in this election are related to the future of the Town Center, including density, parking, and transit. This meeting is the only opportunity for the Chamber to host the candidates. Because of the limited amount of time, each of the nine candidates has been asked to present a five-minute position statement. There won’t be time for a debate or questions although some candidates may be able to answer questions after the meeting adjourns. Luncheon cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
